Notes:

November 1999 – Tim Hills: A fluted bole is visible for several feet. Above this is thick twiggy growth. Ivy grows from within this yew, making it more difficult than usual to eradicate. Girth of 19′ 7” (597cm) at the ground, 20′ 4” (620cm) at 1′ and 23′ 0” (701cm) at 3′ recorded.
June 2014 – Peter Norton: Girth of 20′ 2” (615cm) close to the ground where six embedded nails marked the height.
November 2016 – Tim Hills: Girths of 20′ 1½” (613cm) at the ground and 20′ 8” (630cm) at 1′. It was no longer possible to measure at 3′.
