Notes:2015: The female yew had the following girths recorded: 568-572 cm (18′ 8”) at its base and 624cm (20′ 6”) at 1m.
2022 – Peter Norton: A tall female yew with a girth of 19ft 2ins (584cm) measured at its narrowest point around the fairly low root crown. The main leader grows straight and true with no real break of crown. Some minor branch removal at lower levels and minimal interference over the years has resulted in a very health specimen. I could see no obvious signs of large basal cavities but one small area on the southeast side does tend to suggest some internal growth when feeling inside.
