Yews recorded: Notable
Tree girth: No data
Girth height: not measured
Tree sex: unspecified
Date of visit: 23-Mar-14
Source of earliest mention: 2013: Nick Brown
Notes:An exceptional and fascinating fallen tree. In falling it caused a second yew, growing a few feet away, to collapse. That yew has been sawn off leaving only a few feet of its trunk and its root system. Over time it appears that branch material from the large tree has coalesced with root material from the smaller tree. Girth of the fallen tree was about 8′. Two stems that formed at the base after it fell have girths of 3′ and 3′ 3”.
