Notes:In 1988 Evans described that the “Trunk is hollow, splitting into two parts”. He recorded a girth of 462cm (15′ 2”).
In 2023 I found that one of the ‘two parts’ had been cut down. This made its internal stem clearly visible and the tree flourishing. I recorded a girth of 464cm (15′ 3”), which included the sawn off section of trunk.
