Notes:

July 2002 – Tim Hills: Many thick branches radiate from a platform at about 6′. Ivy grows high into its branches. Girth of 17′ 7” (536cm) recorded close to ground.
June 1999 Russell Cleaver: Male, solid tree within narrow walled churchyard. Girth 17′ 8” (538cm) at ground level.
February 2011 – Peter Norton: 18′ 2″ (554cm) at 1′, this height chosen as all the ivy previously described had been cut through. Great difficulty in getting the tape around the tree due to the mass of low branches. Only one place to take a photograph of the bole. Also note the hidden cement mixer. From where the branches emerge from the bole I noted hollowing but was unable to climb up to verify. No obvious basal cavity to view interior.
