Girth height: at 30cm

Notes:

Eve would appear to have been a much later planting, though evidence of yews in avenues shows that there can be a wide variance in growth rates for trees planted at the same time. It is also possible that two yews were planted at the same time and that the original Eve was replaced at a later date. Again it is hoped that archive evidence will provide some answers. Additional girth measurements are as follows: 7′ 2” at 3′ and 6′ 11” at 5′.
