Notes:1986 The Churchyard yews of Gwent – Revd J.Daryll Evans: A yew with a girth of 364cm (11′ 11”) at 1m.
October 2021 – Tim Hills: It is not clear what Evans measured, for today the yew consists of a leaning main trunk, with a 2nd smaller girthed upright trunk presumably growing from the same root material. I recorded a girth of 11′ 6” (351cm) around the base of the leaning trunk. This included some flaking bark and will make future comparison difficult. Around the upright trunk girth was 5′ 1” at 3′. Around the base of both trunks girth was 14′ 1” (429cm).
