Notes:August 1998 – Tim Hills: Tree 1 on the plan, NW of the church. From its 8′ bole rises a large central hollowing branch and several more substantial branches, forming a regular canopy around the tree. Girths of 22′ 8” (691cm) at 1′ and 28′ 3” (861cm) at 5′ were recorded.
In October 2004 a girth of 22′ 7” (688cm) at 1′ was recorded.
In September 2012 a girth of 22′ 9” (693cm) at 1′ and 24′ 9” (754cm) at 3′ (beneath the bulges) was recorded.
In September 2020 the following girths were recorded: 23′ 0½” (702cm) at 1′, 25′ 0” (762cm) at 3′ and 28′ 10” (879cm) at 5′.
