1997: 11m tall x 282cm diameter at 0m (Owen Johnson).
June 1999 – Tim Hills: A single gap in the bole of this fine hollow yew is too narrow for access to the tree’s centre. From all sections of its vast bole is an outpouring of both large and small branches. Girth of 29′ 6” (899cm) at the ground recorded.
January 2012 – Peter Norton: Healthy growth. Bole girth 29′ 5” (897cm) measured at the ground with a slightly undulating tape. Internal stems can be observed and the gap was large enough to almost squeeze inside.
