May 2012 Tim Hills/Peter Norton: This fine yew grows just northeast of the church. Girths recorded 13′ 9” (419cm) at 1′ and 14′ 10” (452cm) at 3′.
July 2022 Brynley Andrews: One yew. 146cm stem diameter / 459cm girth at 0.7m where thick ivy has been cut. Height about 11m and 8m crown radial spread. Quadrafurcated secondary stems from about 1m ht. Iron wheel/pulley stuck in Union. Good structural condition but foliage density denuded by about 15%. Probably due to dry soil. Surface roots showing – needs mulching. Close to a stream but on raised ground.
