Tree sex: female

Date of visit: 25-Feb-06

Source of earliest mention: 1990: Percy Morgan

Notes:

February 2006 – Tim Hills: The yew appeared to be solid. From one side it looked like an ivy tree with large quantities on the trunk and filling its branches. Many large branches rise from the bole above a height of about 6′, while several others have been cut off at this height. Girth was 13′ 10” (422cm) at 1′, measured over ivy which would have accounted for a few inches.
2015 – Tim Hills: The ivy had been removed revealing a fine tree. Girth, this time without ivy, was again 13′ 10” (422cm) at 1′. A branch on the church side was hollowing.
