Stoke Trister

March 2016 – Tim Hills: The tree is male with a girth of 17′ 10” (544cm) trying to obtain the lowest measurement close to the ground but above any root material. This was over so many ivy stems it has been adjusted to 17′ 6” (533cm). It has a good solid looking bole, though holes are beginning to appear on the east side. Bole height is about 6′. From this are thick branches both round the edges and in the centre. The lower part of the tree was hidden behind twiggy growth.
