Notes:

Tree in the photograph is a fine example of a wild yew forking into two stems below 122cm height and has noticeable exposed roots undulating from the base. The site is on the edge of the forest, about 100 metres above the path, and on broken rock (talus) which has little soil. The sun does not shine on this location from late November to early March. At the time of visit the yew was hosting a growth of yellow Sulphur Polypore fungus. Two further yews are found at NY271133, close to the path.
