Notes:

June 1999 Tim Hills – Thick buttresses at the base of the bole can be followed into the branches they support. A bole of solid appearance, covered with twiggy growth. Girth of 25′ 9″ (785cm) at the ground recorded.
September 2012 Peter Norton: The female yew grows just west of the south porch, much bushy lower growth, a full crown and evidence of recent lower branch removal. Measured at the ground, just below the point where the epicormic growth starts a girth of 26′ 1” (795cm) was recorded.
