Notes:

March 1992 – D. and J. Rudd-Jones: On the south side of the church there is a large yew and there is a church record that it was planted by Joseph Sefton in 1666. The girth of the tree at three feet is 13′ 3” and at four feet is 13′ 6”. The tree is solid and male. A 2nd yew to the southeast is solid and female and had a girth of 8′ 5”.
March 2004 – Tim Hills: A fine clean bole with a girth of 13′ 6” at 2′. There was no sign of hollowing.
