March 2000 – Tim Hills: The yew shown here is a fragment of a once large girthed tree, growing next to a healthy young yew. It leans and competes with elder, holly, ivy and brambles. The sequence of photos shows the gradual decline of this tree. Girth 14′ 10” (452cm) at 3′.
Peter Norton Feb 2012 and June 2016: In 2012 one branch still thrives, just, although the rot has increased on the bole. The pictures tell the story of 2016.
