Notes:

August 2016 – Tim Hills: A girth of exactly 16′ (488cm) was recorded keeping the tape close to the ground but riding above root bulges. On the side facing the wall is a large hollow space. Ivy was being allowed to colonise the tree and the area between wall and tree was being used as a place to store metal sheets etc.
2019 – Peter Norton: Female yew at the top northwest corner of the church with a healthy-looking crown. Hollowing on the north side of the bole where some small amount of churchyard detritus has been previously been stored. Also stored beneath the tree’s canopy on the northeast side is a wire mesh compost enclosure. There was no evidence of internal roots in the hollowing section.
