March 2012 – Lin Carter: The yew grows in the NE corner of the churchyard, adjacent to the footpath and near the top of the slope, where its bole has caused banking of soil behind it. The original bole has long gone and the tree has regenerated as a major and minor trunk from a common rootstock. Girth measurements at ground level (upslope) are approx 419cm/13′ 9” and 198cm/6′ 6”. It is a healthy male tree, surrounded by ivy.
