A sparsely foliated yew with a much reduced crown grows west of the church. Much of the outer shell is missing and five internal stems can be seen. One of these now grows at least 12” away from the remaining bole. A girth of 255cm at 50cm was recorded. This excluded the internal stem which is now external. Allowing for the lost half of the tree suggests that this yew was once larger than 4m in girth.
