Notes:A fluted female yew. Girths of 11′ 11” (363cm) at 1′ and 12′ 5” (378cm) at 3′ were recorded over a thin cover of young ivy growth in 2009.
Revisiting on 24/11/2017 the ivy stems were too thick to make a meaningful measurement. The tree had been severely lopped. There was no record of this work in the Wiltshire planning department, but I was informed by people living in the area that the tree had split in 2017, leading to the necessity for remedial work to be carried out.
