May 2013 Tim Hills: Regular trimming has exposed an unusually large surface area. Almost all of its large girth consists of living wood. Girth at the ground but rising above any bulgy roots had increased by 2” between 1999 and 2013 and was now recorded as 23′ 11” (729cm).
