2018: Photos 1 and 2 show a male yew at SU3926551935. It has a girth of 15′ 7” (475cm) at the base.
Photo 3 shows a male yew at SU3915551980. It measured 11′ 11” (363cm) at the base and 13′ 9” (419cm) including the cut off stem seen on the right.
Photos 4, 5 and 6 show a male yew at SU3900052072 with a girth of 14′ 8” near to its base.
Photo 7 shows a male yew at SU3889252134 with a girth of c12′.
Photo 8 shows a contorted old tree at SU3899451926 with a girth of c10′.
Photo 9 shows a male yew at SU3913451884 with a girth of 12′ 6” (381cm) at its 2′ waist.
The last two photos show a female yew at SU3880052100. Its girth was 13′ 6” at 3′ above the higher ground.
The eighth yew (not photographed) was female with a girth of 11′ 4” (345cm) at 4′ and 14′ 2” (432cm) at the ground. Its grid reference is SU 3890052100.
