Notes:

August 2005 – Tim Hills: A fine looking many branched yew inside a 1′ high circular containing wall. Bole bulges on the church side at about 5′ following branch removal. Two gaps at the base reveal portions of the original trunk, still intact so not possible to know what is happening in the centre. Girths of 15′ 7” (475cm) and 16′ 11” (516cm) at 3′ recorded.
December 2011 – Peter Norton: Girth of this male tree recorded as 16′ 1” (490cm) at 1′ and 16′ 9” (511cm) at 2′ from the top of the 1′ retaining wall. This is starting to crack as the tree expands.
2020 – Tim Hills: The following girths recorded: 16′ 1” (490cm) at the ground; 16′ 4” (498cm) at 1′: 16′ 10½” (515cm) at 2′; 17′ 6” (533cm) at 3′ (not a good height for reliable measurement).
