Weston Common - Avenue Nurseries

The female yew grows at SU6930643874. It has a girth of 13′ 1” (399cm) at 4′ 6”.
There used to be a triple stemmed yew with a girth of about 15′ at SU6917643839 (the selling area). This yew disappeared about a year ago.
Yews are also found on the opposite side of the road. At SU6962343941 the yew is now in a garden.
There are also many younger yews in the woodland, as well as a few mature yews and yew stumps scattered amongst the trial plots and plantations on Weston Common, which the Forestry Commission took over in the 1950s.
