Tree ID: 1018
Yews recorded: Ancient 4m-5m
Tree girth: 427cm
Girth height: No data
Tree sex: female
Date of visit: 24-Jun-02
Source of earliest mention: 1940's: The King's England - Arthur Mee
Notes:June 2002 – Tim Hills: Low twiggy growth made the tree unmeasurable but it was probably between 14′ and 16′. It is in three sections, and it appeared that the central section was the original trunk. This is now largely dead and cut off at about 3′, but has a lot of low growth coming from it. To one side is the main rising new growth, to the other is another truncated section that supported much new growth.
