Notes:January 2006 – Peter Andrews: A very fine yew with a solid looking trunk, its considerable girth changes little in the first 4′. Girth 22′ 5” (683cm) at 1′.
April 2006 Tim Hills: The yew grows ESE of the church. Girth of 22′ 5” (683cm) at 1′ and 23′ 8” (721cm) at 4′. Ivy, which fills two huge branches, has been recently cut and will die back. Gaps in the trunk reveal internal growth. Branching begins at about 8′, with six large around the huge central branch.
A fine columnar yew, also male, grows SE, its girth 11′ 3” (343cm) at 2′.
