Girth height: not measured
Tree sex: male
Date of visit: 6-Jul-99
Source of earliest mention: 1997: The Sussex Tree Book - Owen Johnson
Notes:March 2004 Tim Hills: A female yew consisting of many trunks/branches springing straight from the ground. They form a raised platform about 2′ high in the centre from which an upright branch grows. I took no girth measurement.
March 2016 Peter Norton: The female yew grows opposite the northeast corner of the church. It consists of a low bole that has nine living stems and many that have been cut. An unusual form that does not appear to be the result of multi-planting. All the stems are female and the girth around the base was 16′ 7” (505cm).
