Notes: The yew grows west of the church. In 2017 Janice Gregory reported that 'On Thursday January 12th this area was hit by winds of up to 140 kph. It caused the yew in Bourneville church yard to split in two and a large section has fallen, partly onto one edge of the church roof and also onto tombs. The statue of a weeping Madonna next to the broken branches is particularly poignant. The tree had been severely cut back by the local council about six months earlier, with branches that were overhanging tombs nearest the church entrances removed.
