Notes: The earliest records of this church are 13th century. The churchyard is approached by a small farm trackway at the far east of the village. The yew grows at the edge of the churchyard to the SE. A History of the County of Oxford: Volume 8, originally published by Victoria County History, London, 1964, reports that 'the churchyard, which was extended in 1902, has a fine yew tree which appears in Buckler's drawing of 1822'.
