Notes: The 15th century Hampton Court Castle is located at Hope-under-Dinmore, between Hereford and Leominster. It is surrounded by 1000 acres of parkland, pasture and woodland. It predates Hampton Court Palace in London by some 80 years. In the grounds are found two ancient yews, growing close to each other in the parkland north of the A417, from which they are easily spotted from a passing car. Hampton Court and its grounds are open to the public.
