Notes: On the road approaching Little Cowarne church from the east, the yew is on the left, opposite the entrance for Little Cowarne Court. It grows on a near vertical bank by the side of a stream. The land is private but the tree is quite visible from the road. The map also shows two yews on the east side of the village. These had girths of about 10'.
