Notes: Here is the oldest church in Brecknock, the parish church of Giraldus Cambrensis, Archdeacon of Brecon from 1175 until 1203 A.D. There is thought to have been a church on this site from A.D.500. The present church is 13th century. The yew grows SW of the church on the churchyard perimeter, where there are fine open views to the west.
