Notes: This site is 1100 feet above sea level. Archdeacon William Coxe visited the parish of 'Llanhiddel' in around 1800 and recorded that there were '12 old yews, which surround the church'. A living fragment of one survives along with several stumps. Some of these have yews growing from them. Since one is Taxus baccata Fastigiata, it suggests these are all planted yews, rather than new growth from the edge of an old stump. On Google Earth this location is called St Illtyd's church, Aberbeeg.
