Notes: The dedication and location point to an early medieval origin; locally it is reputed to be a 6th century foundation, and there is a holy well, Ffynnon Dyfnog, a short distance to the west (Clwyd/Powys Archaeological Trust). Trees 2, 3 and 4 are recorded below. Tree 1 is a tall young male, recorded by Reg Wheeler in 1983 with a girth of 307cm (10' 1'') at 100cm.
