Notes: This site is reached by walking along the road past Minto golf course club house. The dark shape of yews on the left gives no impression of what is found within. As well as the old (possibly Norman) church remains, with its two significant yews, there are hundreds more yews forming rectangles of various size. These trees are so close to each other they were obviously planted as a garden feature, creating a large enclosed rectangle with gaps to walk into smaller yew enclosed rectangular spaces.
