Notes: The church is within the grounds of Nettlecombe Court, built originally as a large country manor house. Since 1967 it has been run by the Field Studies Council. The house is surrounded by Nettlecombe Park (SSSI) and house and park are set in a secluded valley on the northern fringes of the Brendon Hills, within the Exmoor National Park. The present red sandstone church building was dedicated in 1440.
