Notes: Arthur Mee's King's England describes this remote location: 'The church in the fields is all it has, that and a few scattered cottages and farms'. Northwest of the church is this young yew that I was told was planted as a sapling in about 1985. The significant tree, which is recorded in the Tree Information, grows southeast. It has been given extravagent ages in the past.
