Notes: The church sits on a small island at the eastern edge of a lake, accessed by a decorated bridge over the moat which was constructed around 1800.The old village has long gone and a Manor house which was close by was demolished and rebuilt higher up the hill in 1856. The church was fully restored in 1878.
