Notes: The first two images appear in the Presteigne History Society Facebook Page and are photographs taken between 1880 and 1890. They show clearly a tall yew in the churchyard. The yew is also seen in the 1908 postcard, supplied by George Lancett. Today only a fragment of the original tree remains, found about 20m SSE of the church.
