January 2005 – Tim Hills: The yew grows on the east side of the church, on a mound with sections of wall showing at its base. A large limb has almost separated from the tree close to the ground. Foliage was sparse. Girth 14′ 0” (427cm) at the ground.
August 2015 – Paul Wood: East of the church. Measured at the ground a girth of 14′ 5” (4.39 m) was recorded. The walling around the tree has disappeared, though brick rubble was found all around the tree. A small path enabled us to get close enough to obtain a photographic record.
