Notes:April 2016 – Paul Wood: The yew grows 25 metres SE of the church’s SE corner, on a slight earthwork bank that can be traced for about 70 metres. The tree is a solid, short boled multi branched male yew. Girth at 2′ on the church side of the tree was 12′ 3” (3.73m). A nearby chest tomb on the south side of the tree is beginning to be demolished by the yew. There was no rot and a small amount of twiggy growth on the south side of the tree. Foliage was a deep green colour.
