Notes:March 2012 – Tim Hills: Tree 3 on plan. A fine old hollow tree. Visual estimate of girth only, it might be one or two feet more. It is seen on the right in the last photograph.
April 2016 – Paul Wood: Large amount of soil, grass cutting and general rubbish was dumped around the base of the tree, raising the ground level by at least a foot. Thick twiggy growth covers much of the bole preventing full measurement and examination of the tree, but from a partial measurement I estimated a girth of about 13′.
