Notes:

Growing by the side of the road about 30m/40m SW of the church, this yew was perhaps once contained within the churchyard. It is a fine looking specimen with its large girth retained for a considerable height. At about 20′ there is considerable thickening and numerous branches. The whole structure leans slightly to the west, exposing some of the roots on the east side. I recorded girths between 18′ and 21′ at various heights. Looking west from this tree, two further yews are seen on the hillside.
