Notes:The larger of the two yews is female and grows towards the east end of the church. It is a splendid, solid, fluted yew which continues to expand its girth to a height of about 3 metres, where it is possibly as much as 8m in girth. The shape of its bole suggests that it has undergone the systematic removal of lower branches in the past. Girths recorded were 5.86m at 30cm and 7.52cm at 130cm.
