Notes:January 1999 – Tim Hills: It is not known when the 2nd yew was destroyed, but when Mee wrote about the site in 1936 he only noted one yew.
Allen Meredith attributes the following information to the Council of the Care of Churches Library: “2 yews of great age on either side of the porch. The elder of these grand old trees has a hollow trunk – so huge that half-a-dozen persons can stand inside.”
