Notes:

August 2000 – Tim Hills: Tree 1 on the plan is part of the avenue and the closest tree to the church. It is hollow, twisted and full of character, with much internal growth. Girths of 13′ 10” (422cm) at 1′ and 16′ 3” (495cm) at 5′ were recorded in 2000 and in August 2006 a girth of 15′ 0” (457cm) at 2′ 6”.
2016 Paul Wood: A twisting live wood shell with internal growth in the hollow centre. I measured at 2′ 6” which seemed to be the narrowest part of the tree and recorded a girth of 15′ 4” (467cm).
