Notes:October 1998 – Tim Hills: NNW of church. Circular wall around tree. Bole intact to about 6′. Though solid in appearance there are indications of hollowing. Tall and conical shape. 22′ 6” (686cm) at the ground.
August 2006 – Tim Hills: The trunk of this yew was hidden behind elder and ivy in 1998. Now it was possible to appreciate the fine tree. A gap on the east side clearly revealed its hollowness with much internal growth. Girth of 22′ 6” (686cm) close to the ground was recorded.
December 2019 Luke Steer: A girth of 7.10m at 1m recorded (approx 23′ 3” at 3′ 3”).
