Notes:

Tim Hills: Tree 1 on the plan and closest to the church by the south porch. A well documented tree consisting of 4 considerable areas of growth from a low bole. Between the 1998 and 2014 visits low growth has hidden the trunk when looked at from the porch. The formidable ancient is best seen from the opposite side. Girth of 31′ 3” (953cm) at the ground -or 18” where ground slopes away, is from 1999.
2017 – Peter Norton: The tree was measured following a line close to the ground and threading the tape behind ivy and holly stems. A girth of 31′ 7” was recorded.
