Notes:Yew tree C, at SO52018793, is of strong and robust appearance. It is covered in dense twiggy growth that is trimmed back on the field side to prevent the sheep from grazing on it. On the other side it prevented closer inspection and measurement of the whole tree. A reliable estimated size would be around 18’/20′ (549cm) based on the measurement of a section of the tree by the footpath. The uniform size of the bole up to the a height of about 5′ suggested a similar girth at that height.
