Tim Hills 1999: The tree growing east of the church, number 5 on the plan and the largest girthed in the churchyard, is seen here. Low branching from a short bole made it impossible to measure, but I considered it to be in the 12’/15′ range.
When Paul Wood photographed it in 2015 it was still ‘impossible to get into’.
